THE GARDEN ROOM

Nestled at the bottom of the garden, a garden room blurs the line between indoors and out, transforming humble sheds and forgotten outbuildings into spaces for creativity, reflection and retreat. Inspired by Swedish kolonilotts and captured by photographer Hannah Puechmarin, The Garden Room celebrates Australian garden dwellings where the old is reimagined: a shed becomes a florist’s workshop, shearing quarters a scent studio, a guesthouse rests on a rose farm. Each space tells a story of renewal, using salvaged materials and offering a peaceful refuge framed by the beauty of the garden.
